To test it do the follow:

2 - Press the F11 key to go in fullscreen
3 - While in fullscreen press the zoom gadget (it's the unique gadget visible aniway)

I don't see why this should be a MUI bug. It is the Webkit browser which behaves wrong. The fact that it is embedded into an MUI application doesn't mean that MUI is at fault here.

By the way, you can attach arbitrary files directly here. No need to put them on a different server. Attaching them here ensures that they don't get lost.

Yes you right for the link (postimage it's just an habit for me)
Next time i will use the embedded functionality :-)

About the issue i asked Roman on the Odyssey thread:

Let's see what he say…

@Thore
I can't check it myself till tomorrow, but that what Fab say:

—-
In fullscreen mode, you shouldn't be even able to click the zoom gadget, so it's a mui os4 issue to me.

I will recheck it all myself tomorrow and report back

@Thore
I recheck it, and it seems indeed something with our mui and fullscreen. I.e. in morphos version once we press f11 to make odyssey fullscreen, it going to real full-screen without any gadgets. I.e. pure odyssey window and his tabs. But on os4, when we press f11, its all the same going to fullscreen, but keep zoom gadget attached.

Take a look at the Odyssey source yourself. All gadgets are disabled for the fullscreen mode, except the size gadget. And as long as a window resizable it will get a zoom gadget as well. It may be a feature of MUI on MOS to disable the size gadget automatically, but on AmigaOS the size gadget (and hence the zoom gadget) stays visible as long as the window is resizeable.

I will modify opening the window in so far that a borderless window will never get a size gadget and hence no zoom gadget as well. A small test application proved that this solves the problem.

In 3225:

  • Window.c: borderless windows will never get a size gadget attached, because that also adds the zoom gadget in the window title bar. This fixes the full screen mode of Odyssey and thus closes #7.
