Release Notes:

Added a "Help" item to the popup menu to invoke the application's online help without the need of the Help key.

We all know that there is no HELP key any more on modern keyboards. Hence, I think it would be sensible to add a new "Help…" item to the window's context menu (accessible from the button in the title bar) for all windows that use MUIA_HelpNode.

Even better would be to add a completely new "?" button to the window's title bar for all windows that define MUIA_HelpNode. If that button is pressed, MUI should automatically show the online help as if the HELP key was pressed.

First of all, it is possible to use an arbitrary key sequence for the help facility. Although this defaults to the Help key it is possible to choose any other key, even without a MUI key file.

Furthermore invoking the help facility from a context menu or a window border button would not be exactly the same as pressing the help key, because the latter works in a context sensitive way and will invoke the help facility for a specific object, while all other methods can invoke the generic help facility only. This is already possible by adding an appropriate menu item or button to the GUI and using the MUIM_Application_ShowHelp method accordingly.

If something like this implemented the only option I can offer is that the menu item will only be available if MUIA_Application_HelpFile is valid. However, an additional window border gadget is out of question, because this requires far too many changes in too many components, including the system itself if things are going to have consistent look to the already existing gadgets. This is too much work for little effect. If a feature like this is added then it will be a popup menu item only, just like "MUI settings…" item.
