Description

Some mcp's seem to have a forced behaviour on the manu MUI prefs window.

eg. MagicASL and some others when selected force a resize
of the main prefs window (limiting the window height to a fixed size)
This is a bit annoying, so I was wondering if it was possible to override this behaviour some way by inserting a scalable empty padding area below the prefs frame so that the main prefs window does not collapse in size.

No. It is the responsibility of the prefs classes to provide an object which allows the main window to be resized. If these classes provide a fixed size object then there is nothing MUI can do against this.

Shame ;-(
I hoped they could be encapsulated in an invisible virtual frame that would have allowed the unlimited vertical resize possible
