Description

Problem

MUI/Prefs/Images

Enhancement recommendation

When you have a lot of images, the window get really big and getting to some of the images may become tricky.

Solution. Frame the image browser window with scrollers (bottom and right). Without the button images on top! They should stay visible all time.

Also the directory names of the images need to be framed, so that they stay visible too when you scroll images from left to right (eg. 30+ images in a row) (in other words something like Nlist style)

For the image browser to set up the internal MUI images there is a scrollbar in the right window border and at the bottom of the group showing all images. Horizontal scrolling is also possible by pressing Shift and using the mouse wheel. There is no way to scroll just the image area but exclude the top, because the whole page is a virtual group with yet another nested virtual group.

You can also click on the image buttons at the top to get a popup menu showing all suitable images for this image type.

For 3rd party classes (i.e. Listtree) there are embedded horizontal and vertical scrollbars.

Why not have another virtual group for the image area ? (like frames on the web)
I guess it will be getting a bit complicated, that's all. Well, we can call it a design flaw then.
