The MUI for AmigaOS development team has revised their build system and is happy to announce that it provides now daily nightly builds of their latest development sources to the public (http://nightly.muidev.de/). Please find the respective nightly build archives of MUI3 and MUI4 but also at the bottom of the download section of this site (http://download.muidev.de/).
Please note that these builds are generated automatically from the current source repository (SVN), which means that they are completely untested - there's absolutely no guarantee that they even start up or work without crashing or damaging your current installation.
Bottom line: USE THESE BINARIES AT YOUR OWN RISK! THEY ARE JUST SNAPSHOTS OF THE CURRENT DEVELOPMENT OF MUI AND MAY FAIL IN ANY ASPECT.
If you find any reproducable bug on these binaries, please file a bug report on the official MUI bugtracker stating which nightly build (YYYY-MM-DD) your tests are based on, otherwise we can't do anything about it http://bugs.muidev.de/
The MUI for AmigaOS development team is proud to announce the immediate release of version 3.9-2014R1 of the Magic User Interface for AmigaOS3/m68k. Please find the release archive in our download section http://download.muidev.de/
This is the first release of MUI since MUI 3.8. At least a 68020 CPU is required. A faster CPU and a graphic board is highly recommended. Additionally MUI 3.9 will make use of 3rd party system extensions like AfAOS.
Like all former releases a keyfile is required to enable all available settings. Old keyfiles from MUI 3.8 can be used without any restriction.
This release is explicity declared as a beta release, because it has been developed and tested on an AmiKit installation running on WinUAE only.
Please report any issues in the bugtracker along with a verbose description of the problem as well as detailed instructions on how to reproduce the issue.
